From a Simple Herbal Tradition to a Brand Made for Every Filipino Home

Chef Ayb’s began with a simple belief: nature has always been part of the Filipino way of caring for ourselves and the people we love.

Behind the brand is Chef Ayb, a culinary professional whose journey took her from studying Culinary Arts at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde to furthering her culinary experience in Italy and working abroad. But eventually, her path brought her back home to the Philippines—and to something much closer to her roots.

That something was Paragis.

🌿 Where It All Started

Paragis, also known as goosegrass, has long been known in traditional Filipino herbal practices. What many people simply saw growing around them inspired Chef Ayb to explore how this humble plant could be prepared in a way that was more convenient, accessible, and suitable for modern Filipino lifestyles.

What started with a simple idea eventually became Chef Ayb’s Paragis.

The goal was never just to sell another herbal product. It was to take something familiar to generations of Filipinos and present it in forms that today's families could easily enjoy.

From Paragis Tea, the brand continued to grow. Developing convenient capsules and herbal combinations featuring ingredients such as Moringa (Malunggay) and Guyabano.
